  • Since 2008 (ISCR): Functional oxides/TEM studies

- Epitaxial growth and characterization of thin films of complex oxides deposited by pulsed laser deposition

- Synthesis and characterization of 2D oxides. Transfer by Langmuir-Blodgett deposition.

- TEM, EELS, EFTEM, EDS and HRXRD studies on several materials.

  • 2003-2008 (LSGS): Carbides, nitrides, oxides thin films/TEM studies

- Research of new materials in transition metal / non-metal systems (FeN, FeC, FeNC, CrN/CrSiN).

- Photocatalytic properties of nanostructured thin films of titanium dioxide.

- TEM and EELS studies on several materials.

  • 1998-2005 (LSG2M; ERC-Jülich): Complex intermetallics alloys, approximants and quasicrystals

- Synthesis and characterization of complex intermetallic alloys (bulk, thin films).
