The Rennes Innovation Campus Valorization Trophies are prizes awarded jointly by the Rennes Innovation Campus and SATT Ouest Valorisation to reward scientists for their work in valorization and innovation in each of the five Strategic Innovation Domains.
Last November 16, 2021, Olivier Guillou and his colleagues from the INSA Rennes component of the "Solid State Chemistry and Materials" team of the Rennes Institute of Chemical Sciences (ISCR) were rewarded for the transfer of technology to the Olnica company of their work dedicated to the preparation of new luminescent markers by epitaxial growth. These markers are "core-shell" type particles whose different layers are made of lanthanide-based coordination polymers. This new generation of markers presents increased luminance and modulation of the luminescence color.
He received this award from Isabelle Pellerin, Rennes-Metropole vice-president in charge of higher education, research and innovation.
