Lucie's extraordinary pathway highlighted in "En direct des labos" @CNRS INC Actualités

"To choose is to give up" is not the adage of Lucie Jarrige, CNRS researcher at ISCR. Between a demanding career as a chemist at the CNRS and climbing to the top level, she handles her two passions simultaneously. This is successful for her, as she returned once again with the gold medal from Moscow, where the Paraclimbing World Championships were held in September 2021.

Scientists and athletes often have in common to surpass their limits, knowledge for some of them, physical for others. These limits, Lucie Jarrige, 30, crosses them all, with humility. If it weren't from the media reporting on her fourth Paraclimbing World Championship title in Moscow, she would be living both of her passions incognito. But make no mistake, behind a certain shyness hides an iron will...
